With the warm winds of summer, comes an air
of anticipation for anglers all around Europe and
none more so than those preparing for a session
of catfish fishing on the River Ebro in Spain.

As we welcome each weeks new group of anglers, we
know it is only a matter of time before we will hear
screaming buzzers, see arched rods and smashed PB's...

...The mighty River Ebro will not let us down!!!

This year, we are really looking forward to our new
season. Last years results proved that the Caspe
catfish are definately growing bigger and the posibility
of a 200lb fish this summer is more realistic than ever.

Hopefully, it will be our next guests that land the
monster and crack open my champagne with our new
'TOP CAT100' record. Good luck, and watch this space!!!

'SPRING FEVER SESSIONS' REVIEWED
9th April to 6th July

Following the worst spring weather in Spain for
33 years the fish still came out for Ebrocat Quest
with over 10 tonne of fish caught in our 12 week
spring quest.

Over 7 tonne of catfish topped by Jason Graham's
151lb monster and over 3 tonne of carp topped by
Ross Jolliffe's 39lb 12oz beauty.

We are looking forward to our autumn session with
settled weather looking to beat Karl Ekblom's 164lb
monster catfish from last November.

We are all rearing to go for our angling friends that
have already booked their autumn session, plus there
are a few spaces left for those that haven't yet
experienced the Ebro and its slimmey residents.

JULY FEEDING FRENZY!!

as our spring summer season comes to a close for this
year the cats lined up for a catquest summer feast.

in six days we had over 150 fish 90 cats up to 121lb and
carp up to 38lb

solar boys Dave and john returned to the Ebro for a six
day quest and were joined by Aussie copper Fraser and
his squadron leader brother Jason for three days and
they were treated to a fishing extravaganza

as soon as the baits were dropped a take happened
with numerous double and triple takes  there was
definitely no resting up  for all the boys.with PBS
and suntans all around the Ebro worked her magic
yet again with another four fishermen hooked!!

SPANISH RECORD CAT

A British angler has landed a
European record on his first
catfishing expedition. Carl Smith
and friend Dave Jones, caught
the 226lb Wells Catfish on
holiday in Spain.

The men struggled with the
8ft monster for more than
90 minutes and have named
it Jaws.
