With the cool winds of autumn, comes an air
of anticipation for anglers all around Europe and
none more so than those preparing for a session
of catfish fishing on the River Ebro in Spain.
As we welcome each weeks new group of anglers, we
know it is only a matter of time before we will hear
screaming buzzers, see arched rods and smashed PB's...
...The mighty River Ebro will not let us down!!!
This year, we've been really looking forward to the 'Autumn
Glory Sessions'. Last years results proved that the Caspe
catfish are definately growing bigger and the posibility
of a 200lb fish this Autumn is more realistic than ever.
Hopefully, it will be our next guests that land the
monster and crack open my champagne with our new
'TOP CAT100' record. Good luck, and watch this space!!!

SIBLING RIVALRY ON THE EBRO

Keen angling brothers Darren and Steve thought
they would have a try for the Ebro cats after reading
about them all the time at home and always saying
they would like to come. It took their mate Dave to
give them the final push and book the trip and the
lads were not disappointed.
As off all of June this year, no two days were the
same with wind rain and then brilliant sunshine!
The fishing was the same, and not knowing what
was going to happen next Darren was the 1st one
to hook into a big fish which dragged him into the
water then spat him out.
But big brother Steve was determined that wasn't
going to happen to him so when he hooked into a
big one later that day there was no way it was
getting off a great fight and he landed a mighty
118lb Ebro cat, the biggest of the trip. Darren
did get a consolation prize of a lovely 75lb cat.

OLDEST CATQUEST CUSTOMER BAGS A NEW PB

After a two year break, father and son team
Arthur and Richard return with Ebrocat Quest.
88 year old Arthur bags a new pb and both had an
exiting time with numerous takes of hard fighting
cats. After a few epic battles, Arthur decided enough
was enough and sat back and enjoyed the sun and
let his boy do the rest of the hauling!!

has obliterated the world Wels
catfish record with the capture
of a 246lb 14oz specimen from
Spain’s River Ebro.
