As summer approaches and temperatures start
to rise, the River Ebro catfish are consistently
on the prowl for food and the sound of screaming
buzzers and camera shutters continuously echo
out of our swim and around the valleys of Caspe.
Each week welcomes a new group of angler’s and
we know it is only a matter of time before we will
see arched rods and smashed PB's...
...The mighty River Ebro will not let us down!!!
The first few months of our new season have already
seen catfish upto a whacking 170lb and hopefully,
this weeks guests may even crack open my champagne
with a new 'TOP CAT100'. Good luck, only 171lb
to beat!!!

THE GIANT PUSSY HUNTERS HIT THE EBRO

The four giant pussy hunters hit the Ebro for
their 3 day Catquest with temperatures still
soaring the setting was perfect.
With the orders picked to who would have the first run,
Stu was up first, but then breakfast came and so did
the first run of the first day. Stu decided Sam's breakfast
was too good to stop eating and told brother Dan he
would swap turns and he would have the second run.
Dan hit into the screaming run and landed the fish of
the session, a mighty 147lb Ebro Cat.
"Its the best thing I've ever had off my brother!!"
Claimed Dan.
The 4 lads Stu, Dan, Clive and Mark went on to
land 20 fish but the 147lb was the fish of a session
not to be beaten!!

EL SCORCHIO!!

With temperatures still soaring on the Ebro the
carp yet again are in spawning mode but that didn't
deter catquest regulars 'the London boys' Ross and
Tom, who joined Jordan and Katie (aka bite alarm).
In sweltering heat in the first few days there was
definitely more drinking than fishing but the fish soon
came along 'the London boys' bagging 7 cats then they
were replaced by newcomer Alan who finished the week
with Jordon they landed 52 cats in the week Alan with
top cat of 85lb and Jordon with top carp.

DAVE LEAVES THE MIGHTY EBRO WITH STYLE

Ebrocatquest regular dave wanted one more trip
on the mighty ebro before he moved on.
The magnificent Ebro never let him down with
temperatures soaring into the 100s the river worked
her magic with 4 new pbs of 119lb, 126lb and a mighty
136lb ebro cat and a lovely 34lb river carp.
Dave brought with him novice cat angler John but
ebrocatquest was able to supply the "vital services"
for John with a mighty top cat of the week a 152lb
ebro whacker so the gauntlet has well and trully
been handed over to John (unless Dave misses
catquest that much he endures a days flying)

BRIT LANDS 226LB
SPANISH RECORD CAT

A British angler has landed a
European record on his first
catfishing expedition. Carl Smith
and friend Dave Jones, caught
the 226lb Wells Catfish on
holiday in Spain.
The men struggled with the
8ft monster for more than
90 minutes and have named
it Jaws.
