    BIG WATER CARP FISHING ON
EUROPE'S ULTIMATE TAKES WATER

At EBROCAT QUEST we don't only target catfish, we
also have a passion for carp and fishing on the River Ebro
can produce some of the best action in Europe.

RIVER EBRO CARP
Although the Ebro has a good head of mirror carp and
fully scaled carp, it’s the common carp that makes up
the majority of the rivers thriving carp population. Many
of these long, lean and muscular shoal fish are uncaught
but can be frequently seen topping during the day.

Primarily a bottom feeder, the River Ebro carp live
mainly on a diet of crayfish, swan mussels and
crustaceans and it's this rich food source that helps
them grow to such impressive weights.

The current Upper Lake record is a superb common
of 52lb and was caught recently by a guest of ECQ.
This cracking fish still had the mouth curtains in place,
suggesting that this capture could well have been the first
time this wild river carp had ever graced an anglers net.

'BIG WATER' CARP FISHING
No matter what level of fishing experience you have,
the River Ebro has something to offer all anglers. Why
not learn how to big water carp fish with an expert!!!

Our experienced guide John, details everything you need to
know about carp fishing on a big water for the first time.

He offers technical advise about the use of boats and
echo sounders, the importance of feature finding, fish
location and feeding areas, plus knowledge on which
baits and rigs work well. He can also detail the finer
points about choosing the right gear and safety
equipment on the river.

Join John and put the his theory into practice.

If you've ever thought about trying a big water for
the first time but didn't know where to start, look no
further than the River Ebro and ECQ!!!

TACKLE UP, ITS CARP TIME
We supply all the high quality tackle you
require for a River Ebro carp fishing trip:

RODS: 2 x 12ft 2.75lb test curve rods.
REELS: 2 x SHIMANO Bait runners.
BITE ALARMS: 2 x FOX buzzers and Solar bobbins.
END TACKLE: 15lb mono throughout with 25lb
braided hook links and size 4, 6 or 8 hooks. There will
be a small charge for any lost terminal tackle.

BOAT (Guide use only): Inflatable dingy with 4HP Engine.

NOTE: When carp fishing, you may like to bring a

and a good quality braid of at least 25lb test.
