buds on the trees start to blossom, this indicates that the
River Ebro Catfish and Carp will soon start to awaked
from their winter snooze at Caspe and when this
happens all hell will break loose!!!!
As we welcome each weeks new group of anglers, we
know it is only a matter of time before we will hear
screaming buzzers, see arched rods and smashed PB's...
...The mighty River Ebro will not let us down!!!

TERRY LANDS HIS EBRO DREAM

Terry and Dave returned to the Ebro. The 'Two
Evertonian’s' were Ebrocat Quest's 1st customers,
some 6 years ago, and have been returning every year
since. When they arrived this time, we prepared them
by saying "We have no idea what the river would throw
up for this time", but who could have imagine what
would happen on day one.
1st take terry hit into a monster take and the
fish gave him the fight of his life at one point he
thought he may have to give up the shear power
of the fish was taking its toll but after the epic
battle. When John went to glove it we knew we had
a big fish on our hands knowing straight away this
may be our first 200lb'er but what happened next
blew us away, weighing in at 213lb we couldn’t believe
it so we re weighed it !!
Yes it was correct it wasn’t the longest fish we have
ever caught but it was definitely the fattest a pure
pellet monster catfish. Terry couldn’t stop shaking he
had hoped to beat his PB but this just blew him away
it blew us all away not only Ebrocat Quest Top Cat but
we believe at this time the top lake record, pure
Ebro magic !!
Off course now Dave wanted one sibling rivalry
runs deep but Dave definitely had his chance but
the big Ebro monster chewed him up and spat him
out this was to be Terry’s trip and a trip that will
definitely be hard to beat !! see you next year
where we will do our best you never know what’s
next with the Ebro!!

EBRO MADNESS

A mad week on the ebro for the end of october
temperatures soaring at the beginning then drizzle
and rain at the end then plagued with weed then
the attack of the algae and levels still falling could
the river throw anything else at us ??
Luckily all the fishermen we had had a passion for
the mighty river and we managed some hard fishing
with pbs falling to dean with a new pb carp of
28.5lb and pb cats for del and jamie

Frenchman Christophe Dubreuil
has obliterated the world Wels
catfish record with the capture
of a 246lb 14oz specimen from
Spain’s River Ebro.
